Lake Cowichan First Nation Economic Development Lands Feasibility Study

pdf: Lake Cowichan First Nation Economic Development Lands Feasibility Study
Resource Description:

In 2013, Lake Cowichan First Nation (LCFN) completed a 5-year Economic Development Plan which outlined a strategic plan for addressing economic development opportunities for the community. Building on this initial plan, the goal of this project is to review the economic development potential for the lands within the current LCFN land base, and assess the land, market, and infrastructure components based on the potential development concepts. This process will assist in helping to discuss and communicate ideas for future economic development with LCFN Chief and Council as well as the entire community. The concept plans will provide the basis for establishing cost estimates for future development ventures and provide a baseline for investment decisions.
